Clifford Antone was an American music promoter and record label founder who opened Antone's nightclub in Austin, Texas in 1975. The venue became a cornerstone of the Austin blues scene, hosting legends like Muddy Waters, B.B. King, and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Antone also founded Antone's Records, helping preserve and promote blues music.
