Daniel Kessler is an American guitarist and co-founder of the post-punk revival band Interpol, formed in New York City in 1997. He is known for his distinctive melodic guitar work, which helped define the band's dark, atmospheric sound. Interpol's debut album, Turn on the Bright Lights (2002), brought the band widespread critical acclaim.
