Dave Matthews Band is an American rock group formed in Charlottesville, Virginia in 1991, known for blending rock, jazz, folk, and funk. The band built a massive following through relentless touring and live improvisation. Their 1994 major-label debut Under the Table and Dreaming brought them mainstream success. Guitarist Tim Reynolds is a longtime collaborator of the group.
