GZA (also known as The Genius) is an American rapper and founding member of the influential New York hip-hop collective Wu-Tang Clan. Known for his cerebral, chess-inspired lyricism, he released his landmark solo album Liquid Swords in 1995, widely regarded as one of the greatest hip-hop records ever made.
