Kurt Vile is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist from Philadelphia, known for his lo-fi rock and folk-influenced sound. He gained wider recognition with his 2013 album Wakin on a Pretty Daze and has also collaborated with Courtney Barnett on the joint record Lotta Sea Lice (2017).
