Sepultura is a Brazilian heavy metal band formed in Belo Horizonte in 1984, known for blending thrash and groove metal with indigenous Brazilian rhythms. They are one of the most influential metal acts to emerge from Latin America, with landmark albums such as Roots (1996). The band announced their farewell North American tour in 2024.
