Silver & Blue Salute Awards Ceremony for Classified Staff

The Staff Employees' Council Silver & Blue Salute is a catered awards ceremony recognizing classified staff for their years of service, recent retirees, and recipients of the annual Distinguished Classified Employee and Wolf Cub awards. The University President has granted all classified employees two hours of paid administrative leave to attend.
Attendees may optionally purchase raffle tickets to support the SEC Classified Development Fund. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5, and you do not need to be present to win. Cash is the only accepted form of payment. Tickets can be pre-purchased by contacting Cari Walters at cariwalters@unr.edu or (775) 682-6178.
*Monetary awards, including gift cards, are considered supplemental wages and treated as taxable compensation for employees.
