Disrupt Aging Educational Program (With CEUS!)
Reno
This free program, held in celebration of Older Americans Month, covers demographic trends in aging, recognizes older adults as multi-generational individuals, and explores personal and societal opportunities within the aging trend. It is offered by the Sanford Center for Aging, Frontier Area Health Education Center, and College of Agriculture, Biotechnology & Natural Resources.
Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available: the program has been submitted to the Nevada State Boards of Examiners for Long-Term Care Administrators for 2.0 ethics CEUs and for Social Workers for 2.0 diversity, equity, and inclusion CEUs. The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine's Sanford Center for Aging approves 2.0 CEU hours for Nurses.
To receive CEUs, attendees must be present and complete an evaluation within 7 days. Check the NGEC website for policy updates.
