From Mess to Masterpiece: Understanding Process and Product Art in the Preschool Classroom

Part of the Early Childhood Workforce Development program, this session explores the distinction between process-focused and product-focused art in early childhood education. Participants will learn how to support creativity, expression, and developmental growth by emphasizing the value of the artistic journey alongside the outcome.

The training is offered to early childhood providers to help meet Nevada State annual training requirements. Employees in licensed childcare centers or home care settings must complete a minimum of 24 hours of training per year. This course is one of a range of research-based topics presented by the Workforce Development team, and is approved by the Nevada Registry.
