Mark Wellman’s Adventure Day and Abilities Expo

Mark Wellman's Adventure Day is an annual adaptive sports event held at Sparks Marina on Sunday, May 31st, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is presented with support from the Nell J. Redfield Foundation, Northern Nevada Center For Independent Living (NNCIL), and City of Reno Parks Recreation and Community Services.

People with disabilities, along with their friends and families, are invited to try hand-cycling, kayaking, and rock climbing using a range of adaptive equipment. Admission is free, and the event takes place on the Marina peninsula.
