iCan Bike Camp - Las Vegas, NV

The iCan Bike Camp, hosted by the Nevada Center for Excellence in Disabilities (NCED), is a five-day program that teaches children, teens, and adults with developmental disabilities to ride a traditional two-wheel bicycle. It uses adapted equipment, a proven instructional method, and a team of trained professionals and volunteers. Research cited by the program indicates that more than 80% of individuals with Autism and 90% of individuals with Down syndrome never learn to ride a two-wheel bike.
The camp runs March 16–20, 2026, at Green Valley High School in Henderson. Each rider attends one 75-minute session per day. Up to 40 riders can participate. Riders must be at least 8 years old, meet mobility and size requirements, and attend all five days. The cost is $225 per rider, with scholarships available.
The camp also needs 60–80 volunteers willing to donate 75 minutes per day for five days; no bike experience is required.
