The American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) Criteria 4th Edition (Adult) is the widely used set of guidelines for assessment, placement, treatment planning, transition, and continued service criteria for clients with substance use and co-occurring disorders. This 1-hour live virtual training, presented by Mark Disselkoen, MSSW, LCSW, LCADC, is a follow-up to the 3-hour Virtual Training held in March 2026. It takes place Monday, June 8, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.
The session focuses on understanding and implementing the updated ASAM 4th Edition Transition and Continued Service criteria in practice. Participants will learn how to apply the updated Transitional and Continued Service Criteria and how to use them to support ongoing reimbursement for client care with third-party payers.
