Part of the Master Gardener Continuing Education Series, this virtual workshop covers the basics of copyright law as it applies to instructors building presentations and educational materials. Topics include what copyright is, how to make fair use decisions when reusing others' content, and how to find material already cleared for reuse.

Teresa Schultz, Scholarly Communications & Social Sciences Librarian at the University of Nevada, Reno Libraries, leads the session. She provides copyright education to the university community and the broader public.
