Michael Yo, who bills himself as the Half-Black Brother with a Korean Mother, was born and raised in Houston. He began his radio career in Austin at 96.7 and later worked in radio in Houston before relocating to Miami, where he hosts the Michael Yo Show on Y100.

On television, Michael made his E! debut in 2008 as a host and reporter for E! News, and has appeared as a regular panelist on Chelsea Lately's round table and on EXTRA. He has also been seen on Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami and as a celebrity correspondent on CNN, FOX, and MSNBC.

His stand-up credits include performances at The Improv, Comedy Store, Palms Hotel, Laugh Factory, and Stand-Up Live.
