Menopause The Musical

Menopause The Musical is a 90-minute production with no intermission, performing at Harrah's Cabaret inside Harrah's Las Vegas Hotel & Casino (3475 Las Vegas Blvd. South). The show has been running since March 2001 and holds the record as the longest-running musical in Las Vegas history. Set in the lingerie section of a department store, four women from different walks of life meet by chance at a sale — bonding over a black lace bra and their shared experiences of hot flashes, mood swings, night sweats, memory loss, and chocolate binges. The all-female cast performs 25 re-lyricized classic songs from the '60s, '70s, and '80s, rewritten to humorously reflect the realities of menopause. Song parodies include "Puff, My God I'm Draggin'" (based on "Puff the Magic Dragon") and "Stayin' Awake" (a twist on "Stayin' Alive"). Alcohol and food are available for purchase inside the venue. The show typically runs on multiple days per week with both afternoon (4:00 PM) and evening (8:00 PM) performances. Audiences of all ages and genders are welcome, though the show may contain adult themes not suitable for children 12 and under.
