About the venue

The Research Center & Demonstration Orchard is a University of Nevada, Reno Extension facility in North Las Vegas, operated in partnership with UNLV and the City of North Las Vegas. Focused on water conservation in the Mojave Desert, it grows 800+ fruit trees, grapevines, vegetables, and row crops. The site hosts hands-on workshops for homeowners and growers, offers self-guided tours, and donates surplus produce to local food banks.
