Monica Wood is an American fiction writer and memoirist. She is the author of four novels, including The One-in-a-Million Boy and Any Bitter Thing, as well as the memoir When We Were the Kennedys, which won the Maine Literary Award (2013). Her novel How to Read a Book follows three characters whose lives intersect at a Portland bookstore.
