StandUpLive Phoenix, Phoenix

Marc Maron has released five stand-up comedy specials. His most recent, "MARC MARON: PANICKED," premiered on HBO in August 2025 and received a WGA nomination — the only stand-up special nominated in that category. Before that, "FROM BLEAK TO DARK," also on HBO, premiered in 2023 and earned him another WGA nomination. His earlier specials include "END TIMES FUN" (2020, Netflix), nominated for a 2021 Critics Choice Award; "MARC MARON: TOO REAL" (2017); "MORE LATER" (2015, Epix); and "THINKY PAIN" (2013).

Maron's interview podcast "WTF with Marc Maron," launched in 2009, ran for 16 years and over 1,600 episodes, drawing more than 50 million listens per year. Guests included President Barack Obama, Keith Richards, Carol Burnett, and Robin Williams. In 2023, Episode 67 (Robin Williams) became the first one-on-one podcast episode inducted into America's National Recording Registry. The podcast concluded in fall 2024.

On screen, Maron starred in the Netflix series "GLOW" (Critics Choice and SAG Award nominations) and the IFC scripted series "MARON" (four seasons). Film credits include "TO LESLIE" opposite Andrea Riseborough, Justin Kurzel's "THE ORDER" (premiered at the Venice Film Festival), "JOKER," "RESPECT," "SPENCER CONFIDENTIAL," "SWORD OF TRUST," and "STARDUST." He voiced Mr. Snake in the DreamWorks animated feature "THE BAD GUYS" alongside Sam Rockwell, and reprises the role in "THE BAD GUYS 2." He also appears opposite Jeremy Allen White and Jeremy Strong in 20th Century Studios' Bruce Springsteen biopic "DELIVER ME FROM NOWHERE," and stars alongside Owen Wilson in the Apple TV+ golf comedy series "STICK," playing Mitts, Pryce's former caddy.

His documentary "ARE WE GOOD?" — chronicling his career and his experience with grief and loss — premiered at SXSW and screened at Tribeca ahead of a theatrical release. He also produced and stars in the upcoming indie comedy "IN MEMORIAM," alongside Sharon Stone, Lily Gladstone, Alan Ruck, Judy Greer, and Justin Long.
