Carlos Mencia is a stand-up comedian currently on his LIBERATED comedy tour, performing his newest material for smaller audiences. He holds a twice-weekly residency at Jimmy Kimmel's Comedy Club in Las Vegas as part of the "Stars of Comedy" series, and his stand-up special "Here I Am" is available to stream now. He also reprises his role as Felix Boulevardez in Disney+'s "The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder," the revival of the animated series "The Proud Family," which is heading into its second season.
Mencia's career spans television, film, and stand-up. He appeared on "In Living Color," "The Arsenio Hall Show," and "An Evening at the Improv," and was named International Comedy Grand Champion from Buscando Estrellas. His Comedy Central series "Mind of Mencia," created with producer Robert Morton, ran for four seasons, and the follow-up special "Carlos Mencia: No Strings Attached" was the first Comedy Central Stand-Up Special DVD to reach Platinum sales status. He received a CableACE Award nomination for Best Stand-Up Comedy Special for his 2002 HBO special, and has appeared on the big screen opposite Ben Stiller and Michelle Monaghan in "The Heartbreak Kid" and alongside America Ferrara and Forest Whitaker in "Our Family Wedding."
