EFNEP Free Online Nutrition Education 8 Lessons Course

EFNEP (Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program) is a free, eight-lesson online course covering healthy eating, food safety, and meal planning. Each session also includes fifteen minutes of physical activity done from home. The course is open to Nevada residents only.

Classes run every Wednesday and Thursday from June 10 to July 2, 2026, 10:00–11:00 AM via Zoom. Late registration is available through June 11, 2026.

Upon registration, participants receive three form links and assigned login credentials to complete an ASA 24-hour food recall from Rosario Lopez (lopezr@unr.edu). Completing these four forms is required to receive incentives and dietary reports. Attendees must complete a minimum of six classes to earn a certificate of completion and all incentives.

Upon completing the course, participants receive the following items: cutting board, water bottle, grocery list, produce brush, cook-safe magnet, food thermometer, resistance band, measuring spoons and cups, and a cookbook.
