Engineering Adventures is a summer camp for high school students ages 14–17, running Monday–Friday from 9am to 4pm on the University of Nevada, Reno campus (HREL109/110). The program combines hands-on projects, lectures led by university faculty and professionals, and field trips to local engineering sites.
Campers work on activities such as designing water filtration systems and building aerodynamic rockets, with a focus on problem-solving and practical skills. Lectures cover engineering disciplines including environmental, civil, and mechanical engineering.
The camp costs $450. Payment by credit card is accepted and carries a 6% surcharge.
