Invention & Innovation Engineering Summer Camp (Ages 12-14)

The Invention and Innovation Engineering Summer Camp at the University of Nevada, Reno is designed for middle school students ages 12–14. The program covers how engineers across disciplines invent, prototype, patent, and bring ideas to market, giving participants an overview of the engineering-to-entrepreneurship process.

Each day (Monday–Friday, 9am–4pm) includes hands-on design challenges, real case studies of inventions, and lessons on intellectual property. Teams also work through a daily prototyping challenge, refining their concepts and pitching to reviewers.

Tuition is $400. Credit card payments are accepted but carry a 6% surcharge.
